This is where it all started … the cultural centre Näs in Vimmerby includes Astrid Lindgren’s birthplace and childhood home, the farmhouse Näs, which is open for visitors, and a pavilion which contains an extensive exhibition about the author. In the old rectory, you can discover temporary exhibitions.
