Founder www.BeezKneezDesigns.com Valerie Guerrero spent over a decade as a Senior Operations Manager at several of the top investment banks in the world, and then as a graphic designer for Cisco Systems in the Silicon Valley, California. She founded her popular graphic design business, BeezKneez Designs, in early 2008, offering customized invitations, announcements, holiday cards, and other paper goods. Valerie has since expanded her business to include eight additional shoppes, offering niche products such as birth announcements, wedding invitations, and kids party invites. She volunteers with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program in her spare time.

www.13BlackCatsDesigns.com Nikki is a freelance artist and illustrator who has illustrated for gift items, cards and puzzles. She works mostly in watercolor and ink but also designs in digital form. She is inspired by many things depending on what catches her eye. Nikki incorporates her illustrations to make beautiful wearable jewelry pieces. She also weaves baskets, beads on a loom and woodworks. Nikki often donates her work and time to S.A.R.A. Inc. a non-profit animal rescue in New Jersey. Several of her pieces have been donated for auction with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the animals they help.

Allen Tina Dean Designs www.TinaDeanDesigns.com Tina Dean Designs is a woman-owned business based in Stafford, Virginia that specializes in upcycling/repurposing plastic grocery bags into beautiful, useful accessories such as purses and totes. Owned and operated by ‘mompreneur’, Tina Dean Allen, Tina creates and hand-crochets each item one stitch at a time. From plastic bags to VHS and cassette tape to yarn, Tina’s designs are eco-friendly, easily cared for and fashionably fabulous.

Ashley Berthelot Fancy Designs www.Fancy-Designs.net Ashley Berthelot is a 22-year-old graphic designer from Louisiana. She is the owner of Fancy Designs, an online specialty paper goods shoppe. Ashley’s goal was to combine her craft into a marketable product and thanks to her partnership with Zazzle, those dreams became a reality. After a few short months she was invited to join the ranks of the Zazzle ProSellers, the most successful sellers in Zazzle’s online market. Since then, her business has been featured on multiple websites and her award-winning products are shipping all over the world.


Michelle Bousley OC Styles www.OCStylesCreations.etsy.com As a new mom, Michelle Bousley quickly found that she needed to create items to make her busy life easier, so she began to make simple items such as coffee sleeves, organizers, and purses. Over time, her friends started to ask her to make custom items for them. Out of these humble beginnings, Michelle opened O.C. Styles in 2008 and has expanded her line to include luxury, hand-made purses for bridal parties, evening events, and prom. Since the “doors” opened, she has created and sold over 3,500 hand-made items to clients all over the world.

Autumn Bradley Autumn Bradley Jewelry Design www.AutumnBradley.com Raised in Ohio but currently residing in New York City, Autumn Bradley spent the last decade as a design consultant. Autumn has refined the technique known as “trashing,” which has recently been trademarked as her Trash Metal Collection®. All too often we see designs that are refined and perfected, only to be copied and reproduced. Here, however, is a creator who doesn’t strive to create the perfect mold. There is a certain authenticity about Autumn that is reflected in her work. It is this genuineness that has enabled the Autumn Bradley Collection to be so desirable.


Mandy Bryant The Light Fantastic www.TheLightFantastic.etsy.com Mandy Bryant is the creative force behind The Light Fantastic, a photography and jewelry shop on Etsy. After completing her studies at Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, she officially opened her shop in 2009 as a way of sharing her unique vision with a larger audience. Her work has been featured in many publications, including F-Stop Magazine, MAEVE Magazine, and Dujour. She is a regular contributor to MAEVE and Method Press, an art-based magazine she helped found earlier this year. Mandy’s photography combines the best of two conflicting worlds, and is often both strange and lovely, masculine and feminine.

Crystal Evans-Pradhan Little Free Radical www.LittleFreeRadical.com Little Free Radical was founded in 2010 by Crystal Evans-Pradhan. Inspired by the birth of her daughter, Sophie, and finding herself dissatisfied with product options on the market for children, Crystal began to make her own clothes, toys and nursery decor for her daughter. As an environmental science and health major at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, she believes in being a conscious consumer and buying local. Crystal can be found living an active life from a wheelchair due to mitochondrial myopathy, and is likely found participating in adaptive sports, or involved with rare disease advocacy.

Gary Hirsch Doodle House www.DoodleHouse.com Growing up, Gary had a lot of nightmares. When he couldn’t sleep he would sit with his Dad and draw the monsters from his dreams. One night his father leaned over and said, “You know, If you can create them, then you can also erase them.” Gary would draw and erase and soon the nightmares came a bit less frequently. Today, he creates interactive robots, showing his art in galleries, and museums throughout the U.S. and in his home of Portland, Oregon. When not painting Gary runs a creative consultancy (www.oyf.com) that uses improv theater to help Fortune 500 companies.


Lisa Howarth The Lonely Pixel Photography www.TheLonelyPixel.com Lisa Howarth is a self-taught photographer, originally from Vancouver now living in Montréal, Canada. Greatly inspired by Montréal’s uniqueness and enchantment, she uses both vintage film and digital cameras. She tends to create a dark dreamy world, made more so with the absence of people... Lisa has had her work featured on book covers, and can be found selling her photos at Artist Fairs across North America. In her spare time she volunteers at the SPCA and donates her prints to support the cause.

Natalie LeBlanc Papermuse Designs www.PapermuseDesigns.etsy.com Papermuse Designs is Natalie LeBlanc’s brainchild. Natalie has always loved books. Reading books, scribbling in books, and more recently, making books. A basic bookbinding class taught her the fundamentals, but she is mostly self-taught when it comes to binding techniques. Natalie’s style is somewhat retro and eclectic. Vinyl records, vintage maps and paint chips are some of the materials she upcycles into journals, envelopes, coasters and other one-of-a-kind, funky items.

We specialize in creating beautiful handmade tutus and tutu dresses for children. Each tutu is professionally hand-knotted by Jennifer Lee and Kristal Lee from only the finest lead-free, non-flammable tulle made in the USA. Jennifer and Kristal are best friends as well as business partners and enjoy creating beautiful designs for weddings, birthday parties, dance recitals, costume parties, photographs... or just twirling around the house.

Sharlene Maher Stranded Treasures www.StrandedTreasures.com For nearly a decade, Sharlene has been sculpting flowers and transforming them into wearable items. Stranded Treasures is a reflection of places Sharlene has experienced and her love of flowers, jewelry, and clay sculpting. Her collection also consists of much time and consideration to her customers’ requests and to upcoming colors trends. Her choice sculpting material is a waterproof durable clay which she forms and blends each petal without using moulds or paint. Stranded Treasures has become one of the largest collections of handmade flowers made by one artist.


Denise Mancuso AJSweetSoap www.AJSweetsoap.com All of AJSweetSoap’s handmade soaps are veganfriendly, and are custom made to order. Denise works with small batches at a time so there are no leftovers to sit around. All her designs are her own and extra thought always goes into the packaging to complete the product look. A full-time working mom with two young children, Denise turned to soaping as a way to de-stress after a long day. It quickly became her obsession.

Diana Pelliccia-Mueller Bellaroma www.BellaromaBoutique.com Diana is the creator of Bellaroma, a natural skincare boutique. She makes everything from natural soap bars to goatmilk moisturizers and apricot kernel perfume oils to natural headache remedies. Pamela Petry Seeing is Believing Artistry www.SeeingIsBelieving.etsy.com Pamela has always loved being outdoors with all kinds of nature, from the green mossy trees of the Northwest to the flowing wheat fields of the Midwest. With a degree in graphic design from Ferris State University in Michigan, Pamela has always kept some form of art close in hand. When she moved to Washington state, she took a pottery class and has loved it ever since. Pamela has always loved the free flow of design along with a twist of whimsicality. Her pieces seem to have each of these characters in them. Each one is unique, no matter if she’s submerging her fingers in clay, paint, or fabric. Pamela has a passion for nature and each piece reflects that.

Ilene Price Ilene Price Design www.IlenePriceDesign.com Ilene Price started drawing mandalas with watercolor and ink a few years ago and what started as “personal, meditative, organic doodling” has blossomed into a business. Nature is her biggest inspiration and this form of expression is a perfect union between her graphic design background and her inner artist. In 2009, she decided to share her mandalas by creating hand made gifts with the designs. Ilene lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children. She has a BFA in graphic design from UArts.


Michelle Reynolds Aromatic Health www.AromaticHealth.ca Michelle has practiced clinical aromatherapy for over a decade and founded Aromatic Health to educate others about the benefits of using essential oils and hydrosols, as an alternative to conventional medicine. Through essential oil therapy, she found a natural alternative for treating common ailments for herself and her family. Aromatic Health offers products for health and wellness, pre- and post-partum healing, and skin care and baby care. Her popular product lines include Aromatherapeutic, Mother & Child, Skin Care and Gift Sets. All products are handmade, using only pure and organic essential oils and raw ingredients.

Tamecka Sandifer Honeyprint www.honeyprint.com Honeyprint.com is an online business specializing in custom invitations, announcements, and personalized stationery. The owner of Honeyprint is Tamecka Sandifer, a selftaught graphic designer. She got started designing invitations for her family and friend’s events, and they always got tons of compliments from their guests. Those compliments and love of her designs helped spark her entrepreneurial spirit. Tamecka continues to create fun, fresh, and stylish designs for all of life’s special moments. Tamecka holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Roosevelt University.


Heather Sennabaum Re-Zip It! www.RezipIt.com Heather is a full-time working, married, mother of a beautiful boy named Benjamin. During the day she works in a corrections facility as a therapist counselling inmates that battle issues related to drugs and alcohol. Since her day job can be quite stressful, she learned over the years that it is important for her to have some form of release. Heather’s creative mind allows her to express herself while making others smile and keeping the earth GREEN all at the same time!

Lisa Sieczka Elle Moss Photography www.ElleMoss.etsy.com Lisa Sieczka is a fine art photographer from Saline, Michigan who lives in a little, white colonial house with her husband, two kids and cat. She began her career as a photographer in 2006 and has since become one of Etsy’s most popular photography sellers. Using herself as model, she creates photographs with natural lighting, props and bold colors to produce a surreal, dreamy effect. Her work has been featured on several book covers and in numerous magazines, including ElleGirl Korea, Carpachio, Continuum Magazine and Somerset Digital Studio.


Deb Soromenho A.W.E. Handcrafted Jewelry www.AWEjewelry.com Deb Soromenho is an artist and seasoned traveler who loves to explore unique arts and cultures; she channels that passion into her metal jewelry which she says is “inspired by the shapes, textures, and cultures of the world.” Deb’s jewelry is handcrafted using traditional goldsmithing techniques with special attention given to detail and a high quality finish. Her work has been featured in several publications and exhibitions and she regularly attends juried art and fine craft shows in the Washington D.C. area.

Shannon Moyer-Szemenyei Sweet Stella’s www.SweetStellas.etsy.com Sweet Stella’s was born in 2010 by Shannon MoyerSzemenyei, a new mom who had a need to feed her creative spirit. What began with hand-painted ornaments has evolved into hand-cut and stamped party decor, painted items for children, and fabulous hand-cut stationery. Shannon has her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University, where she fell in love with acrylic paint and plaster. She has had her work in two solo exhibitions and the 2006 Ontario Society of Artists Juried Exhibition in Toronto, Ontario.


Lindsay Van Cleave LCVintage and Company www.LCVintageAndCompany.com While pursuing her career in advertisng, Lindsay formed LCVintage and Company, custom designed vintage-inspired jewelry. Most of Lindsay’s designs are inspired by vintage fashion and her grandmothers Ida, Constance and Sara, whose jewelry she still wears today. She loves to blend vintage beads and brooches with modern highquality materials to create a new chic look. She finds the story behind the vintage items she collects by scouring flea markets, antique shops and vendors online fascinating. It just adds a little something extra to each piece.

Shawna Ziemer Wags and Wiggles www.WagsAndWiggles.etsy.com Shawna Ziemer, founder and owner of Wags and Wiggles, has a varied background in design, accounting and administration. In 2010 she quit her job on a quest to spend more time with her family and work for herself. Shawna called on her past business experience in combination with her creative side and passion for animals to make dog and cat toys and accessories. Wags and Wiggles has experienced much success and in less than a year has sold more than 2,500 items on 6 continents and in 45 countries. All items are personally designed and handcrafted by Shawna from 100% cotton designer home decorator fabrics.

ARTISANGROUP

The Artisan Group donates to several worthy charities every year, targeting the aid of children, animals, and the environment. Our mission is to help create awareness and to raise funds for many valuable ongoing programs. Our members generously donate products from their shoppes, and we as a group then donate our exclusive swag bags full of handcrafted products, valued at over $800, to these charities to auction off during their fundraising efforts. We recently participated in annual fundraising events hosted by Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area, and The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Columbia Basin.
