What We Do: To promote and protect the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively support their full inclusion and participation in the communities of the Pikes Peak Region throughout their lifetimes. Organized in 1955 by parents of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, The Arc Pikes Peak Region boasts a 60 year history of meeting the needs of our community while creating a positive future for its citizens.

The Arc Pikes Peak Region also stands out in its successful local and statewide advocacy efforts to address the broad range of needs of our vulnerable individuals and their families. The Arc PPR’s experienced staff, dedicated volunteers and supportive community partners strategically concentrate their efforts to create the deepest impact, directly challenging structural barriers that limit: 

Quality Education

Access to Healthcare

Economic Security

Equal Representation

Our goal is to be the premier intellectual and developmental disability human rights organization for participants, donors, volunteers, and the greater Pikes Peak Region. We invite you to join us in investing in the future of a community where all individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are embraced and respected.
