Antigua’s got everything from world-class resorts with all the modern amenities to traditional inns with their origins way back in the 18th century. Then there are the family-friendly apartments for those who like to do their own thing and the all-inclusives for those who much prefer everything to be done for them... Authenticity is what it’s all about in Antigua. Few of our properties are taller than a palm tree, many have been designed to reflect their tropical setting, and most overlook one of our famous white sand beaches. Yet international standards can be expected in everything from our bars and restaurants to our spas and kids’ clubs. You can choose a family-friendly resort with activities galore or an adult-only retreat where the most you’ll have to do is apply your own sunscreen. We’ve got hotels with gourmet restaurants, private cinemas, infinity-edge pools, carefully-curated wine cellars and the kind of spas that win awards. But if all you’re after is a charming inn, some local fare and a 10-year-old rum served by a friendly barman, we can do that too.

Which part of Antigua you stay in will also have an impact upon your visit. Our properties are sprinkled all around our shores, and although a 45-minute drive is pretty much all it takes to get from one side of the island to the other, you’ll be surprised at how different each coastline is, both in terms of scenery and atmosphere. Do you choose to stay in bustling Dickenson Bay in the north where popular bars and restaurants overlook one of the Caribbean’s finest beaches? Do you go for English Harbour in the south with its historic vibe, cosmopolitan clientele and wall-to-wall yachts? What about Jolly Harbour on the west coast where the ivory-white beaches come with blood-red sunsets? Or do you run away to one of our secret hideaways? We’ve got a famous one tucked away on its own island, and we’ve got quite a few others that are so off-the-beaten-track they may as well be. Of course, our sister island of Barbuda is the ultimate tropical escape. Here you get to camp out beneath the stars or live it up at a luxury beach hotel on the edge of the Caribbean’s longest beach. Just imagine, seventeen miles of pristine pink sands pretty much all to yourselves...
