Owner and designer Hans Smit uses only the finest gemstones collected on his trips to exotic locations all over the world. Hans realised that many long-time clients and first-time visitors are looking for a totally indigenous, authentic memory of their Caribbean trip which can be passed on through their families. Therefore, in honour of The Goldsmitty’s 30th Anniversary, Hans has created ‘Caribbean Corner’. Each unique design is made with rare conch pearls, red and blue amber, Larimar and our own Antiguanite (petrified coral 13 to 34 million years old and a piece of our rock!)
