The Cape perfectly blends the Thompson urban authentic brand with a retro, 1960’s SoCal - Baja vibe. There is a saying at The Cape... “Every suite would have 180-degree ocean views if it was not for that ROCK in the way.” The rock they are referring to is the famous El Arco. Every room at The Cape is architected brilliantly to look straight through the Cabo Arch- this is an amenity exclusive to The Cape.

Javier Sรกnchez is a force on his own. Recognized internationally as one of the best Mexican Architects.
When Javier Sรกnchez first visited the site, which is now known as The Cape, he envisioned guests to feel the harmonized flow between the indoor and outdoor lifestyle; to draw guests closer to the heritage and culture of the Baja. He accomplished this by introducing aesthetics not yet seen in Los Cabos. Javier not only brought traditional native Baja creativity but also created a masterpiece that balances the Sea of Cortez with the Baja desert. Javier Sรกnchez set the perfect stage so interior designer Mariana Morales could introduce a sleek, modern, Baja-beach vibe to the open-air layout. The final product, which we are now lucky to experience is a perfect harmony of energy, traditions, culture, and a contemporary design which mirrors the most beautiful view in Cabo.

The Innovator Chef Enrique Olvera Culinary innovator and celebrity executive Chef Enrique Olvera (2015 James Beard Foundation Award Finalist) oversees the popular ocean-view cliffside restaurant, Manta.
Chef Olvera’s Vision Chef Olvera’s vision was not just to create an exceptional menu but to create an exceptional experience that celebrates the native Baja tastes and ingredients that come from this land and sea. Manta offers traditional Mexican cuisine with an innovative inspiration drawn from Baja, the Pacific Rim, Perú, and Japan. This approach, of designing such a menu, maintains a distinct and tasteful culinary story you must be a part of.

Manta’s menu is balanced perfectly with the restaurant’s decor and inside/outside environment with hand-carved wooden doors, a copper-finished wall and breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez to be seen from any table in the house.

The Rooftop open-air lounge provides a spectacular view of lights between the city in the distance and the stars above. The music, rooftop garden, retro decor, and the brilliant mixologist behind the bar make for a night to remember.

The Ledge is a casual but classic beach house inspired restaurant and patio. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every Sunday enjoy live music and a sumptuous brunch.

Monument’s surf break is a perfect left for surfers that know a thing or two about fast breaks. Even if you are not an avid surfer you can enjoy the daily spectacle of art & wipeouts from the comfort of your panoramic terrace.
The Cape cultivates a natural surf culture full of traditional classic surf vibes. This nostalgic heritage can be felt throughout the residences.

The vision of Sånchez extends to CURRENTS, the spa at The Cape. He got it right again with the softly lit dark walls and minimal art which creates an environment that relaxes the soul and mind. The space moves from indoor to outdoor with the ambient sounds of the waves and the spa’s natural decor. The spa offers a steam room, hot and cold plunge pools, and two ocean-view cabanas.
The fitness room is also a site to see as it features a panoramic view of the Sea of Cortez with separate rooms for yoga, personal training and aerobics.
N IGHT L IF E The most notable upscale nightclub in Cabo San Lucas is The Rooftop at The Cape.
Located six floors up, this trendy late night lounge and beer garden features fashionable furnishings designed by Marisabel Gรณmez Vรกzquez.
