Risky door opened NEW YORK (CNS) - Jesuit Father Richard A. McCormick, ethics professor at the University of Notre Dame, warned in a New York address that use of fetal路 tissue from elective abortions would increase acceptance of abortion. If researchers find use can bring medical benefits, he said, thai will "provide a social legitimation of abortion and a blunting of our sensitivity to its wrongfulness." Speaking at St. John's University, Father McCormick said that when the door is opened for such a practice as fetal tissue use,. it tends to become gradually opened wider and wider.
