Keeping it Timebanking introduction for Johnsonville The Johnsonville community is invited to an event aimed to increase local resilience and strengthen ties between neighbours. The Timebank Summer Roadshow is facilitated by the Johnsonville Community Centre and organised for January 26, 9.30am-12.30pm. Timebanking is a way of trading skills in a community. It facilitates the sharing of skills among its members, both individuals and organisations. Timebanking activity is measured by the time it takes to complete a piece of work. It’s a kind of money, a complementary currency and builds on the magic of pay it forward. Drop by anytime to find out about the Timebank, and ask questions about trading your skills or knowledge.
