MUSCLE CAR MADNESS 27TH YEAR
Muscle Cars!
South Island tour in honour of their 50 years of celebration. Check out the two 1932 Ford roadsters which are being shipped over from America to participate in a month long New Zealand tour. The two hot rods will drive the entire length of the country taking in the MCM show as part of their holiday. Top cars are entered from around the region and will be displayed around the showgrounds for all to enjoy. Auckland through to Invercargill love to come back to Rangiora to show their muscle. Hot rods, street machines, radical muscle cars, classic and vintage cars are all present. Don’t forget to check out the popular, infamous and obnoxious “rat rods”. No matter what your favourite car is you will find it at Muscle Car Madness in Rangiora. There are many different cars on display for only one day of the two-day event, so purchase your reduced 2-day ticket so you won’t miss your favourite. Saturday is the retro beauty competition that not only has a class for the ladies but also has classes for the ‘youngsters’ to participate in. A real popular car last year was Ben Johnson’s Lance Sandford is bringing his 1932 Ford roadster over from Tracy California. ‘Munster coach replica.
Dave Jefferey debuted his very wild, street legal truck at last years show and got Best Creation.
Thunderbirds of all sizes are on display at the public show.
A previous top Ten car and Best Chev this 1960 Chev Impala owned by Luke Orpwood will again be on display.
