THE WOMAN killed when the car she was travelling in was struck by a bus on Sunday night was 44-year-old Trish Beets. Ms Beets was a front seat passenger in the car when it was hit at the intersection of Kilmore and Colombo Sts. In the weekend’s other fatal crash, 38-year-old Aliielua Fesili Salaivao was the driver and sole occupant of the van which collided with a southbound car on Durham St on Saturday night. He was not wearing a seat belt and died after being thrown from the van on impact.
