Brazilian, blue eyed beauty, Maria Helena Vianna, was discovered in the same contest as the biggest names in modeling today, including fellow Brazilians and friends, Isabeli Fontana, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, the famed Elite Model Look Contest. Maria Helena entered to road to super stardom after joining Elite, shooting editorials for Cosmopolitan and Glamour in the United States, gracing the pages of Brazilian Vogue and Elle magazines, and shooting her first cover before she was 17. Represented by Ten Model Management in São Paulo, Brazil and Red Model Management in New York for print, her recent campaigns include Linda de Morrer, Ramo Selvagem, Maruska Gemelli Swimwear, and the cover of the 13th Anniversary Issue of S.Mag. Maria Helena has also shot a commercial for Victoria’s Secret, beauty editorials for famed photographers, Bill Diodato and Luciana Pampalone, fashion editorials with top Brazilian photographers, Renam Christofoletti and Karine Basilio, including editorials for L’Officiel Magazine and Uma Magazine in Brazil. Her television and film work, includes her role in 30Rock, as Katrina Bowden’s Dutch cousin, and a special appearance as a celebrity in the film, Sex and the City 2. She has also filmed CBS’s The Good Wife, HBO’s Bored to Death, a commercial with Iron Man2 star,
Mickey Rourke, Joshua Radin’s music video, ‘Brand New Day’, and a commercial for Trumark Financial in which she is featured. Maria Helena also co-hosted IMG Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York for Fashion News Live and she speaks Portuguese and English fluently.
