In order to generate high quality data and reporting, I spent a number of years mastering IFC's systems - both front end and back end, the latter to create new queries and analytical capabilities. This afforded us immense efficiency in outputs, providing more time to analyze and discuss results.

Message from our Executive Vice President:

“People often talk about the “tipping point” phenomenon.

It is the point at which a critical mass is reached—when people, trends, and ideas realign to create a wholly new way of understanding or adapting to the world. It happens everywhere: a product revolutionizes a market, new research recasts a prevailing scientific consensus, a demographic shift changes cultural attitudes.

One such tipping point arrived here, at the International Finance Corporation, in the last few years.

During the late 1990s, we began to realize that IFC’s market—and thus our business model—might be reaching a pivotal moment.

The annual report that talks about adding value to private sector investment. Damla Zeybel
