VENDOR GUIDE
BEST TOURIST AT TRAC TIONS All of it. Youâve got the arts, you can go and look at all the monuments, all the parks â everything! Old history, you cannot miss it. I even wrote an article on all that. ⊠You got history here about the streets, what it used to be. Iâll make a suggestion of what Iâd do â you got an all-day bus pass and run around, see everything.
FAVORITE THING TO DO IN NASHVILLE What I enjoy doing is really actually being out, selling The Contributor paper out there on 46th and Charlotte where thereâs a lot of history. You have the history of that old Masonic lodge that used to be on 46th, which was turned into a lot of different businesses. Thereâs growth, always. Ever since 2016 when I first got here, thereâs been growth here in Nashville.
HOW TO ESCAPE THE NOISE OF THE CIT Y Escape all the noise of the city? What part of the city donât you understand? I donât see no noise, this city is lovely! Itâs about the city, man, you know what Iâm saying? Well â Iâm wrong, Iâm wrong. When I want to get away from it, I go home and go to bed. It could be like Las Vegas, the lights never get turned off. But we here in Nashville, we shut down sometimes. And thatâs good! Go home, go to sleep, get you some rest.
HOT CHICKEN: WORTH IT OR NOT?
VENDOR CITY GUIDE: MAURICE B. Contributor vendor Maurice B. on hot chicken and tourist attractions
For me, I donât give a shit? I ainât down with that hot chicken. I havenât seen a place here that hot chicken is good â even Hattie Bâs! Whenever I eat some hot chicken, it ainât nothing but spice. You canât even taste the daggum chicken.
FAVORITE PL ACE TO E AT At home. Home-cooked meal.
BEST SPOT IN THE CIT Y INTE RVIE W BY J US TIN WAG NE R
Maurice B. â also known as The Bucket Man â has lived in Nashville for five years. And though heâs seen it grow exponentially over the last several years, the cityâs history keeps his love of the city aflame.
Everything here in Nashville is growing, that simply means I canât just say one spot that I can say is my favorite spot. But I enjoy the growth thatâs right there in my community. Well, two, I call âem my two communities: Richland Park and Sylvan Park. Iâve been there since 2016, theyâve backed me up with anything and everything I needed to do... Itâs a home for me.
