Phuket has two great rugby programs for juniors (Lomas) and adults (Vagabonds). The Lomas team has been formed to provide opportunities for underprivileged Thai youth to experience success and self belief through rugby. Pat Cotter, organizer of the Phuket International Tens and Roelein Muller of the Asia Centre Foundation have won the prestigious International Rugby Board 'SPIRIT OF RUGBY' Award for 2008 for the dedication to promoting rugby in Thailand.

Tournaments Phuket 10’s May 23-25 2014 The Phuket 10’s, in its 11th year, is one of the most popular rugby tournaments for amateur players in Asia. The event takes place over 3 days with 3 exciting competitions for Juniors, Adult and Senior players. It’s the social highlight of the year.
