TNI ALUMNI VOICES NATTANICHA KHONGTRAKULTAM

FACULTY OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (ACCOUNTANCY: AC) WORKING AT EY COMPANY LIMITED AS AUDIT ASSISTANT

“I

decided to study at TNI because of its Japanese-style curriculum with a wide variety of courses that I was really interested in. In addition, I expected to gain Japanese language skills that would benefit my career path. Also, TNI has a huge cooperative network with leading business organizations and universities in Thailand and overseas that give TNI students better opportunities for internships and scholarships. Most importantly, TNI students, are taught analytical thinking and practical skills that are most required in the actual working environment, so we have more job opportunities. I think TNI is the best place to improve myself academically and socially.”

KRAIKHUN KARNJANAPRAPAS

FACULTY OF ENGINEERING (PRODUCTION ENGINEERING: PE) WORKING AT SHIROKI ASIA CO., LTD.

K

raikhun Karnjanaprapas wanted to be an engineer since he was in high school. He found out about TNI from his senior who came back to visit his school and introduced him to TNI. This inspired him to learn about Japanese advance technology and he was very happy when he was granted a TNI Scholarship. He did not hesitate to have TNI his first choice although he had been accepted by other prestigious government universities at the same time. He saw that there were lots of opportunities for student exchange programs at TNI as well as work opportunities after graduation. When he was a fourth year student, he participated in the Osaka Prefecture University’s Internship Program in Sakai City which provided him the class at OPU plus internship in a Japanese company in Sakai City for six months. He said learning Japanese and Catia at TNI were useful in his work. Currently, he is undergoing trainings in operation design at Shiroki Corporation Toyokawa Plant in Nagoya. The training will be over this November and he will come back and work at Shiroki Asia Co., Ltd. in design and development. He said his company is small and composed of three departments: Design, Logistics, and Sales. However, he is confident that the business is expanding and continuing to move forward so he can develop his career path going forward. “TNI is a place of great opportunities,” he said. “TNI juniors should study hard in order to grab these chances. I plan to study for my Master of Business Japanese Program (MBJ) at TNI and pay attention while continuing my work at Shiroki Company.”

NAVAPORN TOPRASERTPONG FACULTY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: IT) WORKING AT THE STOCK EXCHANGE OF THAILAND (SET) AS SENIOR OFFICER – IT PROCESS

“I

have been very impressed with the warm and friendly relationship between teachers and students at TNI. It makes us feel free to learn with socialization and academic improvement. This is so important in the actual working environment. I also had the once-in-alife-time opportunity to join an exchange program to Japan where my mind was broadened. This gave me valuable experiences that will serve me well when I start working in the real business world.”

YAIKAEW TRIKING

FACULTY OF ENGINEERING (ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING: EE) WORKING AT NIPPON SIGNAL CO., LTD. JAPAN

M

iss Yaikaew got a job at Nippon Signal Co., Ltd. in April 2017. She made a great effort to improve her Japanese while learning to socialise with people and become accustomed to cultural differences. She has already been recognised by her employer for being hard-working and possessing technical skills and human capabilities as well as for her inter-personal communication skills.

“It is a great opportunity for me to work in Japan. It takes time to get used to the different culture but everyone here is very friendly and helpful. This makes me comfortable about learning new things, especially Japanese language. TNI’s Monodzukuri principle enables me to better understand Japanese people and how to work with them. I think this is a unique advantage for TNI students. Moreover, thanks to TNI’s connection with universities and businesses in Thailand and overseas, students get various choices and opportunities to go further in their educational and professional journeys. ”
