Current and former trustees celebrate Thacher’s 125th Anniversary. On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the School’s extraordinary faculty and administration, I thank you for the support and impact you have had upon Thacher. As members of the Thacher community, you know the School strives every day to exemplify not only excellence in education, but also in commitment to creating global citizens—students who “live for their own greatest good and the greatest good of others.” Teaching philosophies may change over time, but Thacher’s dedication to honor, fairness, kindness, and truth remain steady and incredibly relevant to today’s world. The School could not pursue this work without your support, and we are deeply grateful for the tremendous generosity from the Thacher community. In 2013-14, the Annual Fund raised $3.36 million to fund Thacher’s current-year operations, while at the same time alumni, parents, and friends committed significant additional resources to support Thacher forever. Truly remarkable. Thank you again, and please visit Casa de Piedra soon. —Andrew R. Shakman CdeP 1990, Board President
