Bright Future, Bright History

BRIGHT FUTURE, PROUD HISTORY

Inspiring students for over 400 years, The Henley College continues to be a vibrant and diverse place to study, empowering ambitious young people to fulfill their academic potential and grow in confidence ready for their future higher educational or professional journeys.

Equality and diversity are embedded into the very fabric of the College and our highly supportive and inclusive learning environment respects and celebrates every member of the College community. The Henley College has delivered over 30 years of teaching and learning excellence, although our origins can be traced back to King James I Grammar School, founded in 1604. These foundations closely reflect the academic and vocational traditions that still remain at the forefront of today’s offering. Situated in the heart of this historical town, the College has strong links across the local community and engages in a range of activities and partnerships with businesses, charities and other organisations. The College is continuing to grow significant employer relationships that offer our students a wide range of opportunities whilst at college, and beyond. On leaving Henley, our students gain excellent results at university and succeed in a myriad of professional fields. Our alumni are passionate about their time at Henley and many retain close links with the College, visiting us to share their experiences and knowledge with our current learners. Join us as we move forwards into a bright future, where we will continue to blend traditional academic excellence with a culture of growth, innovation and creativity.
