Step 9: The Will of God and the Christian life

The more you recognize how great is God’s pardon and mercy toward sinners, the easier it will be to yield to Jesus the direction of your life.

STEP #2: STUDY THE WORD OF GOD

Since most of our decisions are made according to our goals and attitudes, we should be very careful to form our goals and attitudes according to the Word of God. What goals do these verses set for us? 1 Corinthians 10:31 ______________________________________________________________________ Romans 14:19 ____________________________________________________________________________ 2 Cor 8:5, And they did this not just as we had hoped, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and to us by the will of God. 1 Cor 6:19, Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 1 Cor 6:20, For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body. 1 Cor 6:11, Some of you once lived this way. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Cor 10:31, So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God. Rom 14:19, So then, let us pursue what makes for peace and for building up one another.
