Futuristic Florals. The proposed trend has taken inspirational factors from space; there have been many developments, discoveries and events occurring recently. Key inspirational elements that strongly influence futuristic floral is the development and successful growths emerging from international space stations, in particular the phenomenal debut of an orange zinnia flower. Taking inspiration from space and delving into our curiosity of the galaxy, and combining this with floral aspects, futuristic floral will create a trend that is set to dictate a new and interesting approach to floral. This extraordinary approach of futuristic floral will capture the aesthetical essence of floral and plants, with the unusual influences from the galaxy. A new dramatic edge to floral will emerge, encasing a futuristic and scientific outlook to the development of the trend. This trend will adopt a skilful digital focus, enabling the fusion of both significant components. It will explore a variety of digital approaches and combinations within its development, working to capture its individual complexity and versatility. It will investigate the ability to convey the fundamental aspects of the trend, through the unpredictable use of blending multiple layers. This trend will also see the introduction of hazy elements and filters worked into the graphics. There will also be the inclusion of distinctive offset outlines to build greater characteristic outcomes. Futuristic floral will self dictate a strong colour direction specifically from its galaxy influences. There will also be colour inspiration and impacting effects emerging from elements such as crystal forms, gemstones and minerals.

Tactile Textiles.

The textiles collection of futuristic florals, explores an abundance of floral graphics throughout as well as integrating galaxy inspired prints. This tactile portfolio begins to introduce small proportions of metallic effects reengaging the key concepts of the galaxy. The range of visuals, relate back to the proposed trend and suggested colour palette and evoke the beginning of a moody atmosphere.

The Material collection of futuristic florals shows an abundance of hard materials across the image bank. There is an array of crystalized gems and minerals, such as amethyst. A vivid range of floral is expressed along with minimal galaxy inspired graphics. In this material profile the hazy effect the concept statement outlines is clearly emerging along with the inclusion of mixed layer blending.
