The championship went to Parkhill Texels home bred shearling ewe. This year’s flock competition was a huge success and our thanks go to Matt Hobbs for judging this and to John and Barbra Leadbeater for clocking up over three hundred miles taking him from farm to farm. On the final evening the club held its annual club dinner at Whittlebury Hall with Matt presenting the prizes.
This year the club will have its show at Rutland County Show and also for the first time at Ashby de le Zouch and we hope to see all members there. Finally congratulations to all of our members who have done exceptionally well at local and further afield shows. Our thanks are extended to all committee and club members for their hard work and commitment over the past year.

he Midland Club show was held at Rutland again this year, unfortunately, however, the weather was not kind to us as it rained nonstop all day. But this did not dampen the spirit of our members that attended.

Our social evening was held at the new inn at Abthorpe with a meal and skittles evening which was thoroughly enjoyed by all that attended.
