The growing number of vacant spaces in contrast to lack of housing in our city is evidence of shifting economic and social patterns. Curated by a team of diverse creatives — Nikki O'Connor, Lina Marsh and Katy Wallace — local artists from different arts disciplines create site-specific soundbased installations that respond to the stories and acoustic or architectural character of otherwise empty forgotten spaces. The body of work welcomes audiences to engage in dialogue about past, present and potential.
