Friends Greetings Country Day community,

I am so pleased to add my welcome to our annual celebration of Torrey spirit -- expressed this year in Torrey blue at Blue Bash. When we come together for fun and purpose on behalf of students and their talented teachers, we exemplify the true spirit of this great school community as we restate our commitment to developing scholars, artists and athletes of character. That every year dedicated Parents Association volunteers create and produce a festive evening more electrifying than last is a testament to their devotion, creativity and determination. Under the remarkable leadership of Angela Glynn, PA president, and the impressive Blue Bash steering committee led by Tricia Estrada, this evening will be a delight for our eyes, ears and hearts to behold. While we enjoy the fruits of their efforts we are also helping to ensure that students’ lives are enriched by having the educational resources and programs that distinguish La Jolla Country Day as an outstanding independent school. Lauren and I look forward to celebrating with you at this evening’s Blue Bash. Thank you all for all you do in the best interests of your children, our students. Our partnership means everything. Have a great evening,

Chris Schuck 5
