CHEER FOR THE ARTS
It is well known that receiving an education in the arts stimulates a student’s imagination, and improves their cognitive and problemsolving skills. The skills that come out of an arts education can be applied to any career path and are a key component to educating the ‘whole child.’

As We Profile Music
Our Modern Band program at Newman is one of a kind. Our musicians wowed our Eighth grade guests at the 2022 Newman Preview Day with a performance of songs that everyone knows and can sing along to - we like to refer to it as our Newman School of Rock.
Bad Actors, a comedy that tells the story of Carol Danes, a young woman, who- for her directing debut- must pull together a production of Romeo and Juliet to save her beloved community theater from ruin.
Bravo to our students who showcased their talents (not to mention comedic skills) with this great production.
