AT TECH (In 201112): Kara ran in six of seven cross country meets in her freshman season at Tech and consistently lowered her times throughout the year...posted a season-best 5K time of 20:12 at Jacksonville State and was the fifth Golden Eagle finisher... ran a 20:26 at the OVC Championships and was Tech’s fifth finisher...competed in the NCAA South Regional, posting a 25:17 6K time. HIGH SCHOOL: Kara ran cross country and track and field at Jefferson County High School, where she was named the best distance runner on her team for three consecutive seasons.
