Cleveland EO Members,

Shoshin is the beginner’s mindset. For me, it’s like the first day I was given a bike as a child – I knew I had new adventures ahead of me and I was ready to find them! Everyday we have a choice in how we show up. I challenge us as individuals and as an organization to show up with curiosity, excitement, intentionality, and openness to the adventure ahead of us.

First, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our past leadership for gifting us this organization. I would also like to thank the membership that has entrusted me with this leadership role. I assure you that I am wholeheartedly committed to steering our organization towards new heights of success, growth, and adventure.

As entrepreneurs, we are united by our unwavering passion, drive, and determination to challenge the status quo and create meaningful change. This upcoming year promises to be nothing short of extraordinary, as we have carefully crafted an exhilarating lineup of events, initiatives, and opportunities that will both inspire and equip you for success.

What about our Think BIG Space? Thanks to last year’s boards vision, we will drive our goal of membership engagement and connection within our own space. I am looking forward to all of the connections, laughs, learning and magic that will fill OUR space!

This year, EO Cleveland will bring a beginner’s mindset to learning. From economics to death, sex to storytelling, we will uncover the latest on these topics. With a primary focus on learning from the leaders among us, we will also explore how ChatGPT and AI will shape the future of business and co-create opportunities to learn from each other. Later in the year, “EO Book Club” invites you to leave your mark by sharing your experiences from applying concepts from your favorite book, or one of the many resources in EO’s library of nano-learning and podcasts.

EO Cleveland is learning into one of our Core Values, think Big, be Bold, more than ever with the opening of the EO Cleveland Think Big Space! Located in the heart of downtown at 1020 Bolivar Road, our 4700+ sq. ft. 24-hour office space features a hip bar area, individual co-working space, 4 conference rooms, a lounge, a rooftop patio, a gym, and more.

As the incoming EO Cleveland Think Big Space Chair, I’m looking forward to making sure every EO and EOA Cleveland member has a great experience in our new building. Whether you’re hanging out with your EO Cleveland colleagues, hosting a forum meeting, attending an EO Cleveland event, or just looking to co-work and socialize with your EO tribe, I can’t wait to see you at the Think Big Space!
