Stepping Out: Your Story, Our Story

On Saturday April 1, 175 of our closest friends gathered in Levi auditorium to celebrate Temple Israel and support the Friends Annual Fund.

This year’s Stepping Out gala, Your Story, Our Story, chaired by Alex and Ilan Goldberg, was a true reflection of our community and highlighted the people and stories that are Temple Israel.

We heard personal stories from members Marisa and Keith Kenney, Andy LesserGonzalez, and Calvin Lyster about how Temple Israel has played an important role in shaping their lives and supporting them.

The celebration continued with delicious food, festive dancing, and the writing of many of your stories by Dan Hurley, the 60 Second Novelist.

The evening was a true success in bringing our community together and raising $33,355 towards the Friends Annual Fund, which allows us to keep membership and programs accessible to all who want to participate. Thank you to the entire Stepping Out committee for making this a fun and meaningful event!
