Shabbat Unplugged First Friday of the Month, Beginning in November 6:15 pm, Corwin Family Sanctuary tebh.org/Facebook & tebh.org/YouTube Temple Emanuel’s signature in-theround service features spiritually uplifting meditation and poetry. Enjoy a thoughtful short teaching by our clergy, or diverse and engaging special guests. Add your voice along with Rabbi Aaron, Cantor Weiss and the Unplugged Band as together we share the beautiful music of Shabbat Unplugged.

Simply Shabbat Second through Fifth Friday of the Month 6:15 pm, Belle Chapel tebh.org/Facebook & tebh.org/YouTube Simply Shabbat features an hour of music, prayer and a d'var Torah (teaching) from one of our clergy that will reassure, challenge and spiritually move you. This weekly service blends nostalgic and contemporary melodies to create a peaceful and enjoyable start to the weekend. Part soul, part rock, all Shabbat. This Shabbat service puts down the prayer books and jams out! Featuring our electric six-piece rock band, student Soul Singers, Junior Cantors, and Religious School students as they lead us through the service. This Shabbat experience for toddlers and pre-reading children is all about engaging in song and story. Let our clergy welcome Shabbat with your child(ren). After Little Sparklers, join us for Shabbat Spark. This service is a great opportunity to let your children dance and pray in an energetic and fun environment.

Shabbat Morning @Emanuel Saturday Mornings 10:00 am, Belle Chapel tebh.org/Facebook & tebh.org/YouTube Our weekly Shabbat service is a unique blend of traditional prayer, nusach (musical themes), and guitarled melodies. Congregants actively participate in the service by volunteering for honors, greeting visitors, chanting the weekly Torah portions, and celebrating life-cycle events. The service culminates with a thought-provoking Torah study that begins at 11:30 am.. Kiddush lunch dependent on the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions. Shabbat in the Park In Partnership with PJ Library Sponsored by Patty and Larry Goodman and Family February 20, March 13, 10:00 am June 5, 5:30 pm Beverly CaÑon Gardens* Shabbat in the Park** is a lively outdoor service geared toward families with children 6 years and younger. Our amazing TEBH clergy lead us in story, song, and dance in a beautiful sunlit setting. Bring a picnic breakfast and some friends.

Join us every Friday morning and get your children to move and groove with Shabbat songs and story time. With Cantor Lizzie Weiss and Rabbi Adam Lutz, we bring that Shabbat spirit to children, parents, grandparents, and caregivers. All are welcome! In that spirit, we gather together to bless the newborns in our congregation. All new parents are invited to bring their babies to our virtual Sukkah to receive a blessing.

Animal Blessings Shabbat Friday, October 23 6:15 pm, Courtyard Bring your beloved pets to this one-of-akind temple service. Dedicated to Noah and all of the creatures he saved, this Friday night service offers a special blessing to our cherished animal companions.

Havdalah @Home Various dates throughout the year, 7:00 pm tebh.org/Facebook & tebh.org/YouTube Let our Clergy lead you peacefully into the week as you say goodbye to Shabbat in the comfort of your home! Join us for Havdalah at Home on Facebook Live! You can light the candle, smell the spices, and taste the wine (or grape juice) along with others in the congregation, and join a simultaneous virtual Havdalah community. Stay tuned for dates throughout the year.

Martin Luther King Jr. Shabbat Unplugged Friday, January 15 6:15 pm, Corwin Family Sanctuary As we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., join our Scholar-in-Residence Ilana Kaufman as she details an increasingly diverse Jewish communal future and what it means for communities like ours. With an inspiring sermon on Friday night and a text study on Saturday morning, Ms. Kaufman will root our year of work in Jewish tradition. Ilana Kaufman is the founder of the Jews of Color Field Building Initiative.

Love Shabbat Friday, April 16 6:15 pm, Corwin Family Sanctuary Join us for our annual Love Shabbat of free form jazz with the flowing words of some of the greatest love poetry, while receiving a special anniversary blessing from clergy in honor of your relationship. Let’s come together as we celebrate love.

Sisterhood Shabbat Friday, May 7 6:15 pm, Corwin Family Sanctuary Start your Mother's Day weekend with a special Shabbat service led by the Sisterhood of Emanuel. Celebrate female empowerment in this incredible evening honoring the women in our lives.

Memorial Day Weekend Shabbat Spark BBQ and Celebrating Our Teens Service Friday, May 28 6:15 pm, Corwin Family Sanctuary Our Memorial Day Shabbat service and barbecue is a beautiful community gathering to honor all the Jewish men and women who gave their lives for our country and an opportunity to celebrate our teens (and parents) on their accomplishments throughout the past year. A barbecue starts the evening off, followed by an incredibly electric and eclectic celebration. Enjoy the beautiful combo

service filled with American songs, stories and moments of reflection and gratitude. Our clergy present several awards to the teens for their commitment to social justice, community and well-being.
