NEW MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES For golfers who are weighing up that important membership decision Caversham Heath has much to offer. Members know that they can play the course throughout the year, the natural gravel and chalk subsoil providing incredible drainage on the fairways while the USGA greens also ensure conditions remain not just playable, but remarkably good whatever the weather. To encourage more members to join and enjoy the Caversham Heath experience, several new membership options have been added for this year. You can see these on the opposite page. When you consider the quality of the course, and all round facilities the membership fees are extremely attractive and have been frozen for this season. Member benefits Members enjoy exclusivity at weekends, with no visitor bookings taken before 12pm. As membership grows this time will be further extended. A generous 15% discount is provided to members on their beverage purchases and 10% discount is available on food. Existing members can look forward to another full year of competitions, over 100 members play in the weekend

Part of a great team 2014 has been a busy year for the Club, they have recruited; a new General Manager, Matt Ackerman a new PGA

Head Professional, Darren Bartlett and a new Head Chef, Gary Lowerson. They join Course Manager, Jon Scoones and Food & Beverage Manager, Kerry Ronan to form one of the strongest management teams in the region. All boast extensive experience in their field and, together with the dedicated staff already in place, are rapidly driving the club forwards. With support from the extensive Mapledurham Estate, this is most definitely a Club destined for a bright and exciting future.

programme, beginning in February will please members and shows the commitment to provide ongoing improvement.

Year on year investment 2014 also saw significant investment in key projects. The club installed a downstairs spike bar which should work perfectly in the summer, and enjoys views over the patio, 1st and 18th holes.

Appeal to all ages and abilities The Club, via Head Professional Darren Bartlett, are setting up a range of academies to help beginners, of any age, learn and enjoy the game.

The course clearly remains the primary asset and a Bunker renovation

Work will also shortly commence to refurbish the main bar area. Further evidence that the team are committed to driving the Club forwards to benefit the members, while also allowing the incredibly busy function business to flourish.

It’s an exciting time at the Club, making it the perfect time to join, or take those first steps to learn the wonderful game of golf.
