The Chair, Eby Eldho, welcomed everybody to the meeting.

Ratification of the Minutes of Previous AGM
Matters of Accuracy The were no matters of accuracy. Matter Arising There were no matters arising. Moved to vote. The minutes were passed as a true and accurate record. 3.
Receiving the Year End Accounts
The President Activities presented the key points from the year end accounts. Moved to vote. Passed.
4.
Appointment of Students’ Union External Auditors
The President Education explained who the external auditors are and explained their role. The proposed auditors are Anderson Barrowcliff. Moved to vote. Passed. 5.
Approval of Affiliations
The President Activities explained that the Students’ Union’s affiliations are: • National Union of Students - £18,252 • NUS Charity - £4,563 Moved to vote. Passed.

Appointment of Returning Officer
The President Education explains the Returning Officer will oversee the elections, confirming they have been run correctly and sign off the result. Moved to vote. Passed.

Approval of Updated Byelaws
The President Education explained the updated Byelaws. Moved to vote. Passed. 8
Approval Guide to Elections including Election Dates:
The President Education explained the Guide to Elections. The election date is 6th March 2023. Moved to vote. Passed. 9

The Officers presented the details of their campaigns and took questions from the floor. Meeting 15th November 2022 concluded.

Receiving the Accounts and Report of Trustees
The President Education explained that the Students’ Union is now a charity company, and that the accounts are for the last 14 months of the old SU. The accounts are accepted as true and accurate. Moved to vote. Passed. 2
