Memorable Moment

My memorable moment was accepting Jesus Christ into my heart. I have been going to church all my life but it was around the summer of 2016 that I truly wanted to gain a closer relationship with

God. All summer I was praying, reading scriptures, and asking my parents questions about the Bible. At the end of a church service I prayed the salvation prayer and I felt God’s presence. I went to the altar and told the prayer warriors I was ready to give my life to God. Six years later and I feel just as renewed as the time I came up from the water when being baptized. Every step of the way I know God is with me!

Goals

After high school I plan to attend an HBCU for to study nursing. During college I plan on becoming a content creator and having a skin care business for girls that struggle with eczema like myself. I want to help all people in every way I can.

Personal Motto

She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. — Proverbs 31:26

Memorable Moment

One of my most memorable moments in life has been my first Varsity cheer game. When

I was younger, I looked forward to being on the team and to actually be on it, bringing everything full circle. This moment was when I realized my hard work paid off. It’s a moment I will cherish and always appreciate.

Goals

I would like to accomplish the goals of graduating college, getting married, raising a family, being successful in my career surrounding education and possibly law but most importantly, doing what God has called me to do.

Personal Motto

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”

~Romans 8:28 KJV~

Most Memorable Moment

When Nevaeh was honored with the Most Improved trophy from her varsity volleyball coach. This moment was specifically special to Nevaeh because she strives for improvement and greatness in everything she does and this moment made her feel that her hard work and efforts had not gone unnoticed.

Personal Motto

“Don’t let your now affect your tomorrow... you got this girl’’. This helps encourage her whenever she is stressed or in a difficult situation. She is then reminded to push through and overcome it.

Parents' Words of Encouragement

Your resilience and ability to turn lemons into lemonade has truly been rewarding to witness. As you transition into young adulthood know that you are loved. You are fearlessly and wonderfully made. You have a brilliant mind and endless talents. Continue to seek God’s face (as only He will grant you the desires of your heart), and work hard and know that the sky is the limit. We will love you always and forever our sweet baby girl. We wish you only God’s very best!”
