Introduction
In upcoming slides I am going to tell you the simplest ways to check hard disk health and avoid losing your data.
A healthy hard disk is also responsible to perform our PC well.
When Should You Check The Hard Drive Health?
If Your PC Shows These Symptoms then you should immediately check your hard drive’s HealthRead the next slides-

Method 1-
Use CMD To Test Hard Drive Health
● Type “cmd” in run Window (Windows+R Button)
● Press Enter after typing "wmic“.
● Now you can check the disk health status if you type "wmic diskdrive get status," and press Enter.
Method 2-
Use CHKDSK To Test Hard Drive
Health
● Press Windows+R and type cmd.
● Now To run basic scan type "CHKDSK” and hit Enter
● Type the chkdsk/f/r command to repair errors on your hard disk.
Method 3Go To Defrag and Optimize Tool
Step 1. Type "Defragment and Optimize Driver“ (without quote) and open the application Step 2. Now you will have to Click “Optimize” after selecting the hard disk.
Method 4Download Manufacturer's Tools
Step 1. Go to Windows search and type “Device Manager”
Step 2. Now you need to click "Disk Drives" to view the storage devices on your PC.
Step 3. Type the model number in Google and find the manufacturer’s name.
Step 4. Now go to the Manufacturer’s website and download the tool to analyze the drive's status.

3. Seagate SeaTools
Now What?
If you have found a faulty hard drive then you should transfer your data to another external storage.
You can choose to store your data on cloud or on a new hard disk.
