Material Requirements
Materials for all programs and marketing activities must be submitted to your Tech Data Canada Vendor Marketing Manager by the program deadline. Deadlines for Material Submission Your Vendor Marketing Manager is responsible for providing deadline information on Tech Data marketing activities, events and programs. If no copy has been submitted by the deadline, an e-mail will be sent to the vendor to submit their copy within 48 hours. If the vendor fails to submit their materials after the 48-hour reminder, Tech Data has the right to forfeit the vendor from the activity (the vendor will be billed in full). Required from the Vendor When submitting copy, please identify the activity, prior number, date and program (if applicable). Submit copy with your vendor name, as you would like it to appear on the copy headline. Make sure that all product names are spelled correctly and match the name description that Tech Data Canada has for your product. Make sure that all product descriptions are factually correct. Copy that reflects a negative message against your competitors or makes comparisons to products of other Tech Data vendors will not be accepted. Include a strong and appropriate call-to-action in your copy. It should not simply read, “Call your Tech Data Representative.” Include an offer, with promotional start and end date, and Tech Data part numbers. If providing a web site link, it needs to be specific to your site page that ties to the copy. Make sure the copy slants towards the appropriate market – reseller, sales associates, VAR, government reseller, system builder, etc. Acceptable Copy Format Submit copy text in Microsoft Word 6.0 or later format. Photo or Image Requirements All images must be delivered in the following format: Photoshop EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) or TIF (Tagged Image File). Pixel-based images sent electronically should be of high resolution at least 4 x 5 inches in size and 300dpi (or pixels per inch). Save as RGB and with extension .eps or .tif. Media: e-mail compressed file High resolution PDP. Logo Requirements Format: Adobe Illustrator. Electronic: Vector graphics sent electronically should be within 4” x 5” in size. A colour and a black and white version of the logo should be supplied. Media: e-mail compressed file

Note: vendor is responsible for updating the Tech Data Canada logo archive with any changes. Ad Format If submitting a completed ad to Tech Data, it must be in high res PDF.
