In May 2020, Motorsport UK announced the planned lifting of restrictions following COVID-19, so from July 2020, Team BRIT is set to get back on track. A packed plan for the team’s rookies and experienced racers was put on hold as a global pandemic was announced. Now, as restrictions are eased the team is busily creating a new schedule of coaching and racing for the team. How did the team respond to Covid-19? With no racing in the diary, Team BRIT founder Dave Player had to find new ways to keep drivers engaged and race ready with their heads ‘in the game’. An 8-week e-series was therefore developed with support from eTeam BRIT. Read more on pages 8 &9.

Like every other organisation, Team BRIT had to find ways to look after staff and crew, so thanks to the generosity of sponsor Synetiq, new work was created for mechanics, stripping parts form salvaged vehicles to sell on as a new source of income.
