What did you do before you began working in your current position?

I was the director of operations for another real estate brokerage. I then joined Lucas Howard as his transaction coordinator and am now the executive admin for the team.

What does your typical workday look like?

My typical workday includes assisting our team members — whether it is an agent or someone on the admin team — with any of their needs that arise throughout the day, and sometimes that might be just being there for someone who needs a listening ear. I work on creating processes and procedures to help provide our clients with a 10+ experience and to assist all team members in their roles. I keep a pulse on our financials and pay all company invoices. I also help plan and implement our community and client appreciation events. I can touch many parts of the business in a days’ time.

Why do you think you excel at your job?

I am passionate about helping others be successful, and that drives me to excel in my role.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

I get to continue to learn and grow and am surrounded by caring and giving individuals.

What is the most challenging aspect of your job?

I tend to be a perfectionist, so it’s challenging to let that go and to implement and refine things as I go versus waiting for everything to be perfect before I start.

What is one thing about you that others might find surprising or interesting?

I enjoy driving dirt bikes, ATVs, snowmobiles and fast cars — particularly muscle cars.

When you’re not working, what do you like to do for fun?

Hang out with my children and grandchildren

How do you feel about being nominated as a Behindthe-Scenes All-Star?

I am shocked because I didn’t even know there was such a thing. I also feel blessed that I am appreciated and loved by a great team.

Is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself, about your job or about your relationship with the person who nominated you?

When Lucas Howard first started in the real estate business, I onboarded him as a new agent. I’ve got to watch him and his wife build this team, and it has been a joy to be a part of their journey.
