As the Co-Founder of The SISI, a 501(c)3 that provides Transportation Assistance to Cancer Patients, she is also Founder of the mentoring initiative, The SISI Small PEARLS Apprentice Program, now in its seventh year. Terry has taught leadership development and life-enhancing skill sets that have helped her Small PEARLS, her girls, and women to find the fullness of their tremendous gifts and stand in flat-footed confidence, owning and knowing who they are and who God made them to become. The Small PEARL In Every Girl is the extension of this dynamic Program that has graduated eight high school seniors, gifting each with a Small PEARLS Scholarship at the institution of higher learning of their choosing.

Terry invited her CIRCLE of PEARLS™, stellar and accomplished women who are Mothers, Grandmothers, “two Centenarians,” Global and Community Leaders, Corporate Executives, College Presidents, College Athletic Administrators, Physicians, Attorneys, Educators, Emmy Award Winners, News Reporters, News Producers, Entrepreneurs, Magazine Publishers, Writers, Artists and Retirees from across the nation to write Love Letters of Affirmation and Legacy to share their wisdom and remarkable experiences to educate, empower and help propel our girls forward. Included are Congresswoman Eva Clayton, the first African American woman to represent North Carolina; Chief Justice Cheri Beasley, the first African American woman to serve as the North Carolina Supreme Court Justice; Ms. Katherine Ferrell, a 107-year-old Centenarian who was the valedictorian of her high school Class of 1931; Mrs. Hortense McClinton, a 101-year-old Centenarian who was the first African American professor at UNC-Chapel; my Mother, Juanita Wise and so many other trailblazers!
