He is a frequent speaker at a variety of transportation industry events and is a strategic advisor to transportation leaders on the creation of an airline PNR Warehouse, Airline Merchandising, the Customer Journey, and linking corporate level strategy to analytics and the data environment. Frank earned his MBA in Finance and Statistics from University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and his Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Econometrics from University of California, San Diego. KELLY DECKER Senior Director, Platform Engineering Schneider As Senior Director Platform Engineering, Kelly Decker leads Schneider’s platform engineering practice to deliver the technical architecture for integrated, effective, and holistic solutions. BRET JOHNSON Senior Associate Director, Transportation Center Northwestern University Bret Johnson is the Associate Director of the Northwestern University Transportation Center (NUTC), and the Director of the Center for the Commercialization of Innovative Transportation Technology at Northwestern. Bret manages corporate relations and engagement for 187& DQG GHYHORSV VWUDWHJLF UHVHDUFK FROODERUDWLRQV DQG H[HFXWLYH education programs with and for industry and public sector partners. In this role, he also helps nurture, grow, and develop programming for the Transportation Center’s Business Advisory Council. Mahmassani is Director of the Transportation Center and the William A. Patterson Distinguished Professor in Transportation at 1RUWKZHVWHUQ 8QLYHUVLW\ ZKLFK KH MRLQHG RQ 6HSWHPEHU ZLWK MRLQW DSSRLQWPHQWV LQ WKH 0F&RUPLFN 6FKRRO RI (QJLQHHULQJ DQG WKH Kellogg School of Management. He previously served as an endowed faculty positions at the University of Maryland and the University of 7H[DV DW $XVWLQ 0DKPDVVDQL KDV RYHU \HDUV RI H[SHULHQFH DV D researcher and professional in the transportation and logistics area. Mahmassani is recognized nationally and internationally for a broad array of transportation research achievements. His applications span both passenger and freight, and he has been especially effective at connecting advanced models to emerging policy issues. At Coyote, she worked in carrier sales developing strong relationships, identifying opportunities to automate freight planning and helping grow their refrigerated division. Since her time at Coyote, she has worked at SmartDrive Systems, a provider of onboard video and telematic solutions to commercial ŴHHWV DOO RYHU 1RUWK $PHULFD ,Q VKH EHJDQ DW 0DVWHU\ /RJLVWLFV System and has helped grow their commercial team and commercial partnerships.
