Prestige Wilsons Estate Agents
Property Collection
Welcome...
Wilsons is a premier quality, very well established agency, dealing with all sectors of the Jersey residential property market, together with a specialist highly experienced team dealing almost exclusively with the high net worth sector of the market, handling homes in the £5m - £20m+ price bracket. Over the past 18 months Wilsons have successfully negotiated the sale of a wide range of premier properties to new 2(1)e qualifying
island residents, including the sale of the uber prestigious La Valette Estate, which secured the highest price ever paid in the Channel Islands. This specialist team is headed personally by the resident partners, Clifford Wilson and Aimee Sinclair-Horgan who have a combined 66 years’ experience in the industry, coupled with totally unequalled contacts and repeat business instructions.
The Jersey property market continues to make steady progress, with a healthy level of demand in most price ranges, balanced with a reasonable level of supply from intending vendors.
Prices in the lower and intermediate ranges have fairly cautiously advanced across a broad front, whilst in the higher (2(1)e) range,
£3m+, there has been continuing steady demand from wealthy newcomers, resulting in much of the ‘slack’ being taken up within this market sector and as a consequence prices having usefully firmed-up or advanced. The level of demand from 2(1)e qualifying persons is anticipated to increase in the coming months.
Whilst there is always a good level of demand for traditional style country homes, we find that the emphasis of demand from high net worth individuals, is increasingly focused on ‘cutting edge’ contemporary homes. Such homes, should if at all possible, have
stunning sea views and should feature the latest in technological innovation. According to size, specification and location, these
homes can have a value of anything between £5m and £10m, with the occasional truly sensational example reaching a value of well in excess of some £10m. Several such properties are currently under construction in the island, being custom built to private purchasers’ requirements.

St Saviour One of Jersey’s finest country houses now in need of a refreshing new
owner. The location, whilst being totally private, is just a short drive from
all major schools and local shops. As soon as you cross the cattle grid at the
start of the long tree lined driveway it is immediately apparent that this is a very special property. The pair of semi detached cottages on your way to the main house are far enough away to give privacy yet close enough to
house extended family or guests. A courtyard with various double garages to the side of the main house with a 3 bedroom staff/guest flat allows
adequate garaging for car collectors. Formal gardens extend to around an acre plus a further 14+ acres of agricultural land.
The accommodation in the main house offers a large drawing room, snug, dining room and kitchen breakfast room. At first floor are 4 double
bedroom suites, study/bedroom 5 and a huge attic room which could
easily be incorporated to create 2 more bedrooms. The lower ground floor level has numerous rooms currently used as games room, wine cellar and storage. To the south wing is an indoor swimming pool. While ready to move in, the whole property would benefit from extension and modernisation. A great project.
Due to the size of the site and driveway approach we feel sure that any
investment would be adding considerable value to this fabulous property.
Plans have recently been passed for an extensive redevelopment of the site. This includes new wings to the South and North plus various
improvements. The new owner has the choice to follow these plans or to
create their own version within the huge footprint that has been allowed. Alternatively just a cosmetic update would still leave a substantial luxury home. Plans are readily available for inspection.
