StockpART guided exhibition tour Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery Peter Davis, the archivist at Stockport Art Guild, will be giving a free guided tour of ‘StockpART’. This is a fascinating retrospective exhibition showcasing art and craftwork by some of their notable and prize winning artists from the past 100 years. Suitable for ages 16+. Free, just drop in. A Christmas Carol

Garrick Theatre Adapted from Charles Dickens’ 1843 magical short story about Ebenezer Scrooge and his encounters with ghosts and the spirit of Christmas. A perennial favourite, this delightful adaptation is by John Mortimer, creator of Rumpole of the Bailey, and was commissioned by the Royal Shakespeare Company. £10.50.
