2013 RAOUL WALLENBERG COMPETITION AWARDS Raoul Wallenberg, a 1935 graduate of the University of Michigan College of Architecture and Design, has been called one of the 20th century’s greatest heroes. At the college, Wallenberg’s legacy lives through our aspirations for architecture as a humane and social art. All undergraduate seniors participate in the Wallenberg Studio, in which the students are challenged to develop proposals that address humanitarian, social and/or political issues in architecture.
