George joins us from the world-famous boutique hotel, Jonah’s in Sydney. As head chef he was awarded three chefs hats in the last four years by the Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food Guide and a huge seven SMH chefs hats during his impressive career in Australia. As Executive Chef at QT Gold Coast, George utilises the best local produce available to create masterpieces, which encompass his passion for both food and life. A member of the Slow Food Movement, George volunteers his time to promote good, clean and fair food and links between food producers and consumers. Tastes of Gold Coast is privileged to have such a vastly experienced and award winning chef endorsing our 2011 festival.
Brennan Fielding –
Master Brewer – Burleigh Brewing Co.
Originally from the United States, Brennan Fielding is a brewmaster with almost two decades of experience in independent brewing. Prior to establishing his own Burleigh Brewing Company on the Gold Coast in 2006, Brennan worked at breweries such as Gordon Biersch (USA), Shinano Brewery (Japan), Brew Moon (Hawaii) and the Oxford Brewing Company (Brisbane). Brennan’s beers have won numerous awards on the world stage and Brennan himself is an international beer judge.
