The Inky Collection draws inspiration from the expressive nature of ink, creating a meditative experience in the medium’s delicate lines, pooling blots, and slow saturation of surfaces.
Designed for public spaces and corridors, this collection of running-line broadloom explores the fluidity of calligraphy as well as the abstract elegance of two traditional Japanese art forms—sumi-e ink painting and shibori tie-dye.
With patterns both soothing and dramatic, the Inky Collection blurs surface and depth, imagination and reality, drawing guests into a dream-like atmosphere.

The styles play with painterly splashes, cascades of delicate strokes, and stylized ripples that echo sumi-e art. Intricate shibori tie-dye techniques are reimagined in visuals of undyed “resist” patterns on flowing backgrounds. Colorways span the black tones and indigos of traditional inks, rich taupes, sophisticated grays, and refreshing blue-greens.
