Better Together. Those words shape everything we do at Tara at Home, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Because we are always moving so fast, I thought it would be fun to slow down and share with you where we’ve been in our community and give you a little insight into some of the lives of your Home Office peeps, I know you’ll love them just as much as I do! For our front cover shoot, we planted ourselves at a local creamery that has been family owned for over 100 years, Milky Way Farms. Snacking on apples, we enjoyed chatting with a few of the family members throughout the day, just as much as we enjoyed petting the cows, goats, sheep and piglets. If you’re ever in town, you must stop by for an ice cream cone, it will be the best you’ve ever had, I promise! On the front cover, I of course wanted to introduce you to a new stoneware shape we are launching, but I also wanted to introduce you to a few Home Office team members. Meet Kelly Newcomer, your exuberant Chief Operating Officer (in the hat) and Joy Gathers, your dynamo Director of Marketing (sitting next to Kelly). Bill Gleason, is your Business Insights and Analytics Manager extraordinaire (also sitting at the table) and Karim Wilson, your diligent Accounting Manager is chatting it up with Nicole Rogers, your amazing Manager of Communications and Events. We are also regular guests at Vickers Tavern and they were kind enough to partner with us for some new Dee-vine® photos, just in time for Harvest season. Vickers restaurant has been around since 1972, but the building has been there since 1822. We have happy hour there often to soak up some local history, have a cocktail and kick back with each other, and we’ve also been known to devour their Kobe Beef sliders and truffle fries as a team. My favorite is their tableside Caesar Salad with extra garlic—Oh My Garlic, my mouth is actually watering as I write this! I hope you continue to have just as much fun gathering together as we have. SET THE Table... We eat with our eyes first and that’s exactly why incorporating a few food elements into your tabletop centerpieces during this season of gathering can wet the palette before the meal is even in sight. Create a cohesive tablescape by using stoneware pieces to anchor centerpieces that also match back to your serving pieces, it can be quite stunning. Using Tara at Home stoneware for your centerpieces means you can now use your pieces from Prep to Cook to Serve to Store, and now, to Stun. Get the Look We chose white and green as our centerpiece base colors and selected a variety of flowers and edibles accordingly. When it comes to adding color, choose a single color palette that will add a pop, but still allow the arrangement to remain elegant. Each component shouldn’t be competing for attention—we chose within the pink/burgundy/purple spectrum. Keeping it simple will also help the food you serve to be the star. If your centerpieces need to be large, choose large scale vegetables and florals to help fill the space— cabbage, artichokes, cauliflower and bunches of green leaves will help fill in empty spaces. Simply fill gaps with florals, herbs and edibles that fit the spaces that help add both texture and interest to your arrangement.
Special Touches Grab a can of metallic spray paint that matches back to your flatware to pull the eye from the centerpiece to the place settings. We used brass flatware and selected gold spray paint simply to kiss the artichokes and Brussels sprouts with a gold dusting. When selecting herbs for your arrangements, select the same herbs used in the meal. This will ensure the scents in the room are aligned with the food that is served. And, a sure bonus that you get to use the excess herbs and not let them go to waste.

Egg Rammie Puffs Rammies Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 30 minutes Yield: 4 servings 1 package hash brown potatoes 1/2 stick butter 4 eggs 4 slices Canadian bacon 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed Salt & pepper to taste Preheat oven to 400OF. Using your fingers or the back of a spoon press 1/2 cup of potatoes into the bottom and up the sides of each Rammie. Season with salt & pepper. Save any leftover potatoes for another recipe. Place the Rammies on your 11×7 Unlimit-lidTM and bake for 15 minutes. In the meantime, roll out the puff pastry and cut 4 circles, approximately 1/2-inch larger than the top of the Rammie. Remove the Rammies from the oven. Carefully add 1 tablespoon of butter and one egg into each ramekin. Lightly beat the yolk of each egg. Season with salt & pepper. With your Tara at HomeTM shears cut a slice of Canadian bacon into bite size pieces and sprinkle over each Rammie. Top with 2–3 tablespoons of shredded cheese.
