We are responsible for the whole value chain

Corporate responsibility activities in Tapojärvi's operations cover the entire value chain: safe working conditions, responsible supply chains, wellbeing of employees and society, working with interest groups and minimising environmental impacts.

Every year, Tapojärvi supports sports and hobby activities for children and young people in the areas it operates in. For example, during Christmas, we donated €10,000 to the procurement of sports and hobby equipment for children and young people in Sodankylä and Jällivaara. Additionally, our support has also gone out to local junior sports teams, individual athletes, associations and sports clubs. Tapojärvi values genuine cooperation to protect the local environment, promote safety and help people. Pictured are young people from Sodankylä, whose hobby space has just received new heaters so that activities can continue – even on the coldest of winter days.
