Some artists aren't built for the rap game, they let the politics and the roadblocks get in their way but when you meet an artist that has been crowned 2010's Underground Music Awards Best Male Rapper amid the obstacles and odds you have no choice but to take notice. We introduce to you The Underground King of Queens

Interview by Chandrica Clarke

In The Trap: When and how did you first become interested in music? Lexx 9Eleven: Well, I've always been surrounded by music because my pops was a heavy hip hop head. I became interested in pursuing music once a great opportunity was presented. In The Trap: How long have you been rapping? Lexx 9Eleven: Think we all tried to write a rhyme when we was super young, but I started taken it serious back in 2002. In The Trap: What/Who are your musical influences? Lexx 9Eleven: My environment plays a heavy role, my life experiences, and basically all the artist before me that's made it out. Just to name a few Nas, 50, Jay, Pac, DMX, T.I., Snoop, R. Kelly, Redman. Every artist that came out of Queens Really (LoL) In The Trap: What else do you do besides music? Lexx 9Eleven: Into my family, my 2 kids. Chilling and enjoying life, tryna get a dollar every which way I can. Also into fitness training and still ball a lil' bit. In The Trap: What inspired Goon York City?

Lexx 9Eleven: The streets. The state of hip hop. Point blank. In The Trap: What is that song about? Lexx 9Eleven: Basically what you see is what you get. When you see me out and about my supporters and who I'm surrounded by are those you would consider Gangsters, Hustlers, Stick Up Kids, Ballers, The Baddest Females, OG's, Youngins coming up. A lot of money and authentic people. The Broke but hardworking. Police tend to pop up at times to (LOL). I mean what can I say. I bring the streets out. Take a listen to Lexx 9Eleven's “Goon York City”

In The Trap: What does it take to write a song like that? Lexx 9Eleven: Credibility. Some sort of respectable background in the streets. The Mind frame of me. I just don't give a f**k, and they know.

In The Trap: What is special about that song? Lexx 9Eleven: It's real sh*t! Authenticity is always special. It's a hard record and on time for what hip hop is coming back to and has always been about from day one, the streets, and I'm Good out here baby! It's a record many artist can and will relate to. In every hood there's artist that feel like I do or feel they can bring that type of crowd or vibe around. Many just don't sound as good as me when I do it (LoL). In The Trap: What sets you apart from other artists? Lexx 9Eleven: I'm always being myself. As an individual I don't believe you'll come across too many like me in and out the booth. So therefore it's impossible for a lot of artist to bring what I'm bringing. We don't even Think the same! Regardless of how aggressive some of the music content may be, I always make it sound good. I Believe in always getting better as a artist and person, and that plays a major part in making music.

I don't settle for just okay musically. I'm shooting to be one of the favorites of all time. Business wise i have plans to take my brand, my account and those that surround me to the next level. A lot of artist aren't about the business part of this game and that's about 95% of it all (Lol). To sum It all up I got that "IT". Overall package from what I believe, been told and you'll see. Marketing me is easy, just selling myself and not a spin off of a artist i listen to like what a lot of these new artist seem to do. In The Trap: What do you have coming up/put? Lexx 9Eleven: Working on my album and mix tapes. Continuing to make music with the credible and upcoming hot producers I'm working with plus a handful more to add to the list. Releasing some of my best music ever. Putting out a lot more visuals & putting together a tour. Also working on getting involved in some more major movies. When I did "Never Die Alone" in 2004 it kinda got me wanting to do films, BUT! Don't wanna give away the game plan but just know I'm out here and about winning.

(L-R Lexx 9Eleven , Lil Books, DJ Bedtyme 357)

In The Trap: what should we look for? Lexx 9Eleven: Me (lol) a new wave and movement. The game loves a movement they can follow. I have one they'll love. Between my ATM Money Mafia, Queens Da Movement & Q'mittee we won't be stopped once we get going. Twitter pound fact that. We have a lot to offer. In The Trap: What is The Real ATM and who are the members? Lexx 9Eleven: That's home team! Addicted To Money / Money Mafia. That's the family & movement. Too many to name but we Have 730 Da Boss, DJ BedTyme 357, HardBody Twiss, Marz, Gulley, Class The King, Focus The Truth, Ice and the ATM Ladies etc.

In The Trap: How can you be reached for bookings/drops, etc. Lexx 9Eleven: Lexx9ElevenBookings@gmail.com In The Trap: What's your twitter, etc.? Lexx 9Eleven: Www.Twitter.com/Lexx9Eleven or just @Lexx9Eleven In The Trap: One last question for the ladies are you taken? Lexx 9Eleven: C'mere Girl!!! (lol) pay close enough attention and you'll learn everything there is to know about me.

Charles Barkley rips Heat, fans Charles Barkley lobbed another verbal salvo on Wednesday in his war of words with the Miami Heat and their fans.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 08, 2011 – Charles Barkley rips Heat, fans Wert-Berater, Inc. is a provider of feasibility studies for all types of projects. Our website is http://www.wert-berater.com Phone 888.661.4449 June 8, 2011 ESPNChicago.com Charles Barkley lobbed another verbal salvo on Wednesday in his war of words with the Miami Heat and their fans. Charles Barkley joined "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000 to discuss his love/hate relationship with the Heat and their fans. When asked if Miami is the worst professional sports town, Barkley, who reiterated his admiration of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, said: "Yeah they have the worst fans. No question. It's not even loud in there. You're at the game and you are like, 'Man this place isn't even loud.' At least when you go to Chicago, it's loud in there, it's crazy down in Dallas but it's not even loud in Miami." When the Heat were playing the Chicago Bulls in the Eastern Conference finals, Barkley said he liked James and Wade personally, but he called the Heat a "whiny bunch." He didn't back off that charge on Wednesday when he was a guest on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "Listen, if the Miami Heat were playing the Washington Generals I would pick the Washington Generals," Barkley said with a chuckle. "It's something about that team that annoys me. "They just a whiny bunch and I can't root for them." Heat fans let Barkley know they weren't happy with his criticism. In fact, TNT moved its set for pregame shows during coverage of the conference finals from outside American Airlines Arena to inside because of negative interaction between Barkley and fans. The NBA Finals between the Heat and Dallas Mavericks is being carried on ABC.

India Cabrera to put down the paintbrush for a quick Q&A words by-Tammy J.

Humble doesn't begin to describe this young New York bred artist. She is now living and thriving in Atlanta, GA. India was exposed to art by her father at a very young and carried that passion all the way through to college. When asked where she draws her inspiration she states, “Expression, some people sing, dance, rap, I paint as an outlet for my emotions.” India reflects on the first time she sold her first painting, “Before I used to paint and then hide my pieces. Well, my sister caught me painting, and asked me “How much for that one?” The concept was so foreign to me. I posted it on facebookand a day later an old colleague bought my piece, it was overwhelming.” When asked why she used to hide the paintings, I was a little shocked at her response, “I wasn't confident yet. Painting was just a thing I did , not necessarily for others. It was like a diary, I never thought to share them with others.” I for one , am glad that she did. India's Shoutouts and celebrations: My dad for being my inspiration, my mothers, family, and friends for supporting what seemed like an “outta-nowhere” talent. My sister for housing a starving artist. REACH HER VIA TWITTER www.twitter.com/bunnibella

find love in the most unconventional places with the most unconventional people.

Q: What is your favorite part of the play "Love Lies and Lust"? That not all things are as they appear to be. And sometimes you have to look below the surface to see and understand why people are the way they are. "Every sinner has a soul, and every saint has a past." Q: How were you able to leave in humor while dealing with such serious subject matter? I'm pretty witty and comical by nature and can make light of any situation, no matter how serious, so it was a pretty small feat for me to tackle. Q: What play have you seen lately that you found particularly interesting or exciting outside of your own? I would have to say CHEATERS starring Brian McKnight. To date it is hands down one of my favorites! Q: What are you working on next? Taking LOVE LIES IN LUST on tour, filming a documentary that I am in the process of developing, and God willing seeing LOVE LIES IN LUST the movie come to fruition!

Writer of the critically acclaimed Stage play “Love Lies in Lust”

Phoenix Rising Brings the “Drama”

Q: How did you get the idea to write "Love Lies In Lust"? Certain aspects were inspired by my own life. Others by things I've encountered in the entertainment industry and media. Q:What to you is the most compelling or urgent message in the play in terms of both the play "Love Lies in Lust" 's in this contemporary society? That as the old adage goes... 95% of the time "Its not what you know, its who you know." And often times you can

Q: Have you worked with any known actors with a solid career or do you only work with people that are being freshly introduced to the theater? (IF So what was it like working with them?) I've worked with both established actors and novices. Each bring a different element to the project, some good, some bad... But you can only gain knowledge through experience and so I have no regrets about either or. I love the expertise that a seasoned actor brings but I also love the fact that I am able to give up & comers their start on the path to a new and sometimes very lucrative career. Q: Describe your daily activities . What regular things do you do and how much time do you spend on writing ? Well I'm addicted to social networking sites, especially Twitter, and I tweet pretty much from the time I open my eyes until I close them at night. I read a lot, from all different genres of the literary world... and spend time with my daughter & even though I'm a writer I spend the least amount of time doing that ironically enough. Q: If you could have dinner with one person dead or alive who would it be? Oh that's easy JESUS!
