• Dustin Hardy of Dadeville was arrested for an active failure to appear warrant. • A resident of Wave Front Circle in Dadeville filed a report for a dog bite. • Shenetta Black of Alexander City was arrested for criminal trespass. • William Marbury of Alexander City was arrested for active failure to appear child support warrants. • A resident of Warrior Lane in Dadeville filed a report for theft of property and burglary of a residence.

Council deadline nears and as results of a state auditor’s investigation were made public and cited several financial irregularities. Machen was terminated by the mayor on Sept. 18, 2015, but was reinstated by the Alexander City City Council four days later. Since her reinstatement, Machen’s relationship with the mayor, city department heads and some members of the council were strained. It is unclear if this will be the only review of the matter as Machen had the
