Obituaries George Frazier

Mr. George T. Frazier, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016, at the age of 89, at the Bill Nichols State VA Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hooks officiating, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. He is survived by his daughter, Geraldine Ledbetter (Rodney); son, John Mann (Janice): step children and grandchildren, Sandy Willis (Ferrell), Chad Ledbetter (Amy), Lori Schonberger (Wesley), Chris Ledbetter (Jennifer), Gavin Mann, Justin Mann, James H. Mann, Jr. (Judith), Carol Mann (Wayne), Doug Mann (Ashley), who are pleased that he called them his children. They called him their “Pop”, “Grandpa” or “George”. He had sixteen great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren. Special friend June Brodzinski. Faithful neighbors Danny and Jerelene Hall. He is preceded in death by his wife Mildred Mann Frazier; father and mother, Bennie Franklin and Lillie P. Baker Frazier; his brother, Taft Frazier; his son James H. Mann; his grandson Michael Mann. Betty Hall Uptain Clark

Mrs. Betty Hall Uptain Clark, a resident of Deatsville, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at the age of 85. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 17, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. from Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Jeffcoat Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Clark is survived by her children, Debra Dillard (Michael), Denise Harrison (Barry), Phyllis Myers (Randy), Phillip Uptain (Dawn); sister, Christeen Behselich (Wayne) of Wisconsin; brother in law, Robert “Buck” Maddox of South Carolina; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Arlin A. Uptain and second husband, Morris Clark and by her sister, Ann Maddox. Mrs. Clark was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Millbrook, Alabama. Mark Allen Harris

Mr. Mark Allen Harris, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016, at the age of 49. Frankie Lanelle Ward

Mrs. Frankie Lanelle Ward, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at the age of 86. Frankie is survived by her children, Randy Ward, Ricky Ward (Valerie); grandchildren, Jennifer Ward Jones (Travis), Lex Michael Ward; great grandchildren, Conner Gavin Jones, Maggie Grace Jones; sisters, Bonnie Mathis (Winston), Betty Huey (Leonard). She is preceded in death by her husband William Ward: six brothers, Jake, Ed, Ott, Marlin ”Shorty”, Charles, and Calvin “Baldy”. John T. Wilkerson

Mr. John T. Wilkerson, 91, of Clanton, passed away December 16, 2016. He was born April 2, 1925. Funeral service will be Sunday, December 18, at 2:00 p.m. at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. He said Adams then tried to exit the car and stumbled in front of it. Johnson said he slid across the console, took control of the car and ran over Adams multiple times.” Franklin said the argument between Johnson and Adams focused around money and drugs. He said Johnson’s charges included robbery because he allegedly took money and a cell phone from the victim. Johnson is a former Tallassee High School basketball star.
