Our offerings are an act of worship. The offering during the worship service provides believers the opportunity to respond in gratitude to the grace, love, and mercy of God and to put their faith and trust in the Lord into action. The offering to God each in each service is an act of worship just like singing, hearing the sermon, and engaging in prayer.
Genesis4:4– “And Abel brought the best, the choicest parts of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions. And the Lord had regard for Abel and his offering.”
