Kareena Private Hospital
The refurbishment and expansion of Kareena Private Hospital required TAHPI to plan and design a new 36-bed inpatient ward, a 9-bed intensive care unit, an additional operating room and required support facilities, a coronary care unit, an oncology unit with 5 chemotherapy bays and professional suites with waiting and reception areas, 6 consultation rooms, meeting rooms and a pathology laboratory. In the maternity unit the neonatal nursery was refurbished and an additional parenting suite was provided. While the rehabilitation unit was extended to allow for an additional 78m2 treatment gymnasium.
