CRYPTO CURRENCY The DYAD of Olympic Valley is a property that defies real estate convention. It’s progressive and hyper-unique design and setting deserve equally unique and progressive ownership. As such, in addition to traditional real estate deed, a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) validating ownership of the property and design will be created and hosted on the blockchain ensuring proprietary, de-centralized ownership in perpetuity. The DYAD may be purchased via traditional fiat-based currency, Bitcoin, or Ethereum The suggested process involves working with Propy, the leading firm in real estate blockchain and NFT integration to add the current deed of ownership to the blockchain in the form of a unique address and QR code. Doing so immediately upon close of escrow creates a digital footprint for the physical property. Ownership is henceforth immutably recorded to the secure ledger. Any subsequent title report would reflect the existence of the unique public address; however, only the passcode/ private key holder, aka property owner, would have access to the private information (think of this like an email account – anyone can see the public email address but only the person with the passcode can access the messages). Through this address the individual owner or entity can access all relevant information including preliminary title reports, property inspections, architectural renderings, permits, as well as the deed of ownership. The digital opportunity does not replace the traditional real estate efforts nor sales process. All of this can be done in conjunction with a normal Listing and arms-length sale. Standard purchase agreements and contracts are still used. Payment can take the form of traditional fiat currency or blockchain based cryptocurrency.
