ERGONOMICS
Ergonomics can be optim zed by being broken down nto the four pillars of Ergonomics Support Reach, Breathing, and Vision
PRIVACY
Acoustical - Not only physical privacy, but acoustical privacy can be important in an office des gn for purposes of individual and collaborative privacy, so including varying sized hub offices and acoustical fin shes will help focus ng efforts.
Breathing: Air purifiers, Low VOC materials/ finishes Green Label cert ficat on for indoor a r qual ty certified materials
Reach Natural human gaze 15 degrees downward, allowing adjustable table height levels to meet top line eye level

Visual- Using frosted glass to visually separate spaces In work spaces such as the reception/office area w th n publ c view it is important to create a physical separation while allowing pat ent and employee communicat on.
Overcrowding: Placing workstations near high traff c areas can stimulate overcrowding To reduce the feeling of overcrowding, creat ng v sual privacy with building systems and panels will allow for work visual control On the other hand of visual privacy, creating spaces where workers feel completely unaware of their outside surrounding can cause a negative effect on the workers.
Informational: Allowing for spatial separation to create informational privacy Creating enclaves for 1- 2 people will allow for nformational privacy to take meetings or phone calls
Environmental Psychology
Environmental psychology plays a large role in the designing of an office space. Designing for a sustainable working environment has been hard because of the disconnect between wellness amenities and creating a wellness culture.
Elements for sustainable working environments come with designing with the psychology and nervous system in mind.
A few examples:
Sight- What are they seeing when they enter the building first? What does their work desk look Iike?
Hearing- What can they hear when they walk in?
Smell- Studies on aromatherapy in a workspace have shown beneficial feedback.
